We had such a wonderful long weekend doing a mini road trip around BC. It definitely feels like summer to us now and we can’t wait for the rest of our adventures. What did everyone else get up to? 🏔 #adventurejaunts

Okay, we’re about to get a little political here. . . Exactly one year ago we were in Alabama. It was a random decision to go to a music festival there and we honestly had a great time. We were even contemplating going back there this year but man oh man are we glad we didn’t…because we for sure would have had to cancel. . . It’s absolutely appalling what’s happening to women’s rights down there right now. We are both huge advocates for pro choice. You NEVER know what someones going through or their situation. The thing that kills us is that these people are so “pro-life” until the child is born. More than a third of the US population lives at or below poverty line and it’s definitely not these politicians that are making these decisions for women. The fact that it’s hard to obtain healthcare already puts these women at high risks of complications. . . When we were there for the music festival, there was a board that showed how many days since the last school shooting and the one day the number was at 0. How can these people making these laws claim that they’re pro-life when as soon as the child is born they don’t give a shit about what happens to them. Old white men (and women) shouldn’t be able to make decisions about a women’s body for her. This won’t stop abortion, it will just stop safe abortion. Thanks for coming to our ted talk.
